2023 GMC Acadia
The 2023 GMC Acadia is a sleek and modern SUV. It comes with a variety of advanced, convenient features and a spacious interior. To discover more about this appealing, fun-to-drive vehicle, continue reading.
Trim Levels
The 2023 Acadia comes with red GMC lettering in the center of a large, rectangular upper grille. There's also a smaller lower grille. Four trim levels are available: SLE, SLT, AT4, and Denali. Standard features include automatic high beams, fog lights, 17-inch wheels, tinted glass, a rear windshield wiper, dual exhaust, heated power side mirrors with turn signals, and black or chrome roof rails.
You can add a two-panel power sunroof, assist steps, all-terrain tires, 18- or 20-inch wheels, and front and rear splash guards. A keypad for keyless entry, a hands-free power liftgate with memory settings, and auto-dimming side mirrors are also optional. Exterior colors may include Ultra Blue Metallic, Ebony Twilight Metallic, White Frost Tricoat, Sterling Metallic, Light Stone Metallic, Summit White, Volcanic Red Tintcoat, and Hunter Metallic, depending on the trim.
Engine
The 2.0-liter, four-cylinder, turbocharged engine gives 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. You can also choose a 3.6-liter V-6 that offers 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. They both use a nine-speed automatic transmission. An automatic start and stop system helps save fuel by preventing idling when you pause in traffic, and the engine starts again on its own when you press the accelerator. All-wheel drive is standard.
Performance
This SUV has a comfortable, smooth ride and great acceleration. It comes with Sport, Trailer/Tow, Snow, and Normal driving modes. With the four-cylinder engine, you can tow up to 3,500 pounds and carry up to 1,476 pounds. The V-6 can pull up to 4,000 pounds and haul up to 1,846 pounds. You can add a heavy-duty engine cooling system, an adaptive suspension, and an engine block heater. The Acadia gets 22 mpg in traffic and 29 mpg on the highway.
Interior
The luxurious interior can carry up to seven people. It comes with cruise and sound controls for the leather-wrapped steering wheel, a cabin air filter, a six-speaker audio system, a 4.2-inch driver information center, SiriusXM satellite radio, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and active noise cancelation.
Five USB ports, voice recognition, a compass, Apple CarPlay, an 8-inch infotainment system, and Android Auto are standard as well. You can select heated front seats, remote start, an eight-way power driver's seat, navigation, a universal garage door opener, a 120-volt power outlet, and an eight-speaker Bose audio system with a subwoofer.
Safety Features
The 2023 GMC Acadia comes with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, and front and rear parking assistance that provides warnings when obstacles are nearby. You'll also get rear cross-traffic alert, a rearview camera, a following distance indicator, lane-keeping assistance, blind-spot monitoring, and forward collision warning. You can add a 360-degree camera system that gives you an overhead view of the vehicle, a highway safety kit, a first aid kit, and adaptive cruise control. With the Denali, there's a 6-inch head-up display.
